RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We hope you love your L.A. Stein jewelry as much as we do, but we understand sometimes it is not meant to be. You may return or exchange your L.A. Stein jewelry within 7 days after receipt as long as it is unworn, undamaged and unaltered. Your items must be returned in the original packaging. Please contact lisassm.stein@gmail.com for a return authorization number and a pre-paid return label (for domestic orders) with further instructions. We will not accept returns without a return authorization number.

Please note that shipping, customs and other taxes on international returns or exchanges must be paid fully by the customer. 

Please allow 3-5 business days for your return/exchange to be processed. We are only able to refund the original card used to place the order.

Personalized or custom items are not eligible for return or exchange. 

SHIPPING POLICY

All orders placed Monday through Friday will be processed and shipped within a business day unless contacted otherwise. All orders placed on the weekends will be processed the following business day. We do not offer shipping to P.O. boxes. For rush inquiries, please contact lisassm.stein@gmail.com

Domestic Orders:
FedEx 2-Day: $15
FedEx Overnight (Insured): $25

Signature will be required upon delivery for your protection. 

International Orders:
FedEx International (Insured): $70

Please note that the order recipient is the importer on record and must comply with all laws, regulations and restrictions of the destination country. International shipping fee does not include brokerage fees, import and custom duties, VAT, tariffs, and other fees, all of which are the responsibility of the purchaser. L.A. Stein is not responsible for any of these associated fees. All costs incurred on a refused delivery due to high custom or brokerage fees is the responsibility of the purchaser. All costs of returns/exchanges must be prepaid by the purchaser.

Lost or Damaged Packages:
Please note that L.A. Stein is not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared "delivered" by carrier. If your package is lost in transit, please email us at lisassm.stein@gmail.com

REPAIRS

L.A. Stein offers free repairs for domestic orders within one year. Please note that repairs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and additional charges may apply. Warrant for repair is voided if the item has been altered, resized, or repaired prior to being sent to L.A. Stein. Please allow 6-8 weeks for all repairs. For international repairs, please contact lisassm.stein@gmail.com. Any issues with merchandise will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

PERSONALIZED ORDERS

When you have placed a personalized order, you have committed to the item. Please note personalized orders are outside the scope of regular designed production and are both non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

CLEANING & CARE

L.A. Stein fine jewelry is delicate and should be cared for accordingly. To extend the life of your jewelry, take off your jewelry before your daily rituals such as showering, lotion, perfume, etc. Leave your jewelry at home before engaging in strenuous activities such as working out. Do not wear your jewelry to the beach or pool to avoid exposure to harsh chemicals. Exposure to make-up, oil and dyes can diminish the look of your jewelry. Before bedtime, lay your jewelry out flat. Clasp necklaces after removing them to assure the chain does not tangle or knot. To clean your diamond jewelry, use a soft toothbrush and dish soap to gently rub the surface. For jewelry with colored stones, please contact L.A. Stein jewelry or a professional jewelry for safe and gentle cleaning procedures.
